Air China (CA) Cheapest Flight Deals
Air China is the flag carrier of the People’s Republic of China, as well as one the major airlines of China. It was established in 1988, as a result of a decision from the Chinese government to separate an aviation authority (CAAC) into six airlines (Air China, China Eastern, China Southern, China Southwest, China Northern, and China Northwest). China Southwest Airlines merged into Air China in 2002.
Air China is headquartered in the Shunyi District in Beijing. In 2007, Air China joined Star Alliance, and by 2013, Air China carried over 50 million passengers globally.
Did you know that their logo, the beautiful and lucky bird - phoenix - was chosen to bring their friends luck and happiness? It is told in a Tian Lao legend that phoenixes bring happiness and peace, and when they fly in the sky, thousands of birds follow.
Air China leads the way in many areas. It was the first foreign airline to receive Spain’s most prestigious tourism industry award, the “Plaque for Tourist Merit.” It was also the first Chinese airline to offer domestic flights and shuttle bus services as a combined package in China!
